Caribbean Chicken Empanadas

Homemade gluten-free chicken hand pie! Launching our new savoury line of products, this is our twist on a traditional chicken pot pie..but so much better!

Ingredients: pastry: flour blend (white rice flour, tapioca starch, guar gum), butter, water, vinegar, organic cane sugar, sea salt. Filling: chicken, green peas, carrots, onion, scallion, lemon juice, olive oil, sea salt, thyme, black pepper, sugar, pimento, garlic, vinegar, spices, egg.

Instructions: Keep frozen for up to 3 months.

Baking instructions: Re-heat in the oven or toaster oven for 15-20 minutes from frozen at 325 F. For speed, re-heat from frozen in the microwave for 4-5 minutes, then heat in the oven or toaster oven for 5 minutes to crisp up the pastry.
